Dr. Ashley Robertson, DVM, Medical Director
I decided to pursue veterinary medicine because of the special connection I felt with animals from a young age. Some of my favorite activities as a child included riding horses, nursing injured and orphaned wildlife to health, and helping homeless pets join a family. Veterinary medicine was a natural path.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, swimming, landscaping, teaching my daughters to ride horses and listening to my husband play music. Our family often visits the mountains and beaches of North Carolina.
Furry Friends: mischievous boxer Jack and two shelter cats Naughty-Nikki and Kitty Tunstall.
Dr. Max Gordon, DVM
Dr. Gordon grew up in New England but relocated to North Carolina after falling in love with the area during his internship training. He attended the University of Maryland for his bachelor degree in animal and avian sciences and Drexel University for his master’s in laboratory animal science. Dr. Gordon completed his veterinary training at Tufts University in Massachusetts. He jokes that his dog Calvin earned an honorary degree as Calvin was always studying with him. During his training he realized that he enjoyed treating pocket pets, lizards and birds in addition to dogs and cats. He looks forward to helping you keep your critters happy and healthy.
Outside of the office you can find Dr. Gordon running, climbing and traveling in his spare time.
